Some flowers & soon-to-be flowers
Hello, readers.
I just thought I would post some photos of my plants. There are some with flowers, some with buds, and some that are just appealing no matter what. 
Mammillaria perez-delarosae with a flower, Mammillaria magnimamma with a bud, and Mammillaria elongata ‘Copper King’ with a bud:
Gymnocalycium bruchii, with buds:
2 Haworthia cooperi v. truncata plants (with no flowers):
Ferocactus glaucescens, with buds you can barely see, and Echinocactus texensis with buds you can’t see:
Echeveria setosa, and Graptoveria ‘Silver Star’, both with no buds:
My Christmas cactus is blooming again…third time in one year:

More dingy weather
This weather has been ugly. Right now, it is 38° outside, and very overcast. It looks like it wants to snow, but it isn’t snowing. This is our forecast, courtesy of The Weather Channel: FORECAST. Apparently, it’s supposed to be ugly all week. I don’t like that. I would like some sun.
It’s still too cold for any spring growth in my yard. There are a few grape hyacinths poking some leaves up, though. That’s a good sign.
I had a whole tree full of Cedar Waxwings the other day, but the light was bad (it was overcast…go figure), so my photos weren’t very good. I hadn’t ever seen a Cedar Waxwing before, but when I called my mom, she knew just what they were. They have little bandito masks, and bright yellow tips on their tails. Here they are – I hope you can see them:
I am ready for spring.
